Summary
Responsibilities
  • Supervising / Monitoring to make sure monthly maintenance on all equipment have been done, i.e. air con, vehicle, sub-station equipment, etc.
  • Monthly cross checking tools of maintenance, landscaping and housekeeping are properly kept and in order.
  • Spot check on housekeeping in each location, i.e. classroom, canteen, office, etc.
  • Supervising to make sure all school ground areas are always neat, clean, etc.
  • Monitoring the monthly supplies request from each department.
  • Monthly training all ground staff what need to be done based on each department.
  • Monitoring the number of outsource guards are on duty. The number we have paid for.
  • Preparing annual budget requested for each department.
  • Monitoring monthly EDC, fuel, water, etc. consumption.
  • Effectively organize repairs and maintenance scheduling of all buildings, gardens, grounds, equipment and machinery.
  • Be diligent with duties as per assigned work schedules and rosters.
  • Effectively carry out reporting procedures for tasks, monitor health and safety performance within the area of responsibilities, etc.
    1. Facilities Management
    • Manage all school buildings, classrooms, offices, sports facilities, playgrounds, Canteen and common areas.
    • Ensure facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs (Maintenance, Housekeeping, Landscape, etc.)
    1. Asset Management
    • Maintain accurate records of school assets.
    • Monitor asset lifecycle and replacement planning.
    • Ensure proper use and protection of school property.
    1. Vendor & Contractor Management
    • Source, negotiate, and manage service providers with procurement.
    • Supervise contractors performing maintenance, renovation, and construction works.
    • Ensure contractor compliance with safety standards and contractual obligations, child protection and safeguard.
    1. Health, Safety & Security
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Work closely with Security Manager on campus security systems and personnel.
    • Participate in emergency preparedness and response planning.
    1. Budget & Cost Control
    • Prepare and manage annual facilities budgets and review it regularly with Head of School.
    • Monitor utility, maintenance and operational expenses.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
    1. Project Management
    • Coordinate renovation, expansion, and capital improvement projects.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
    1. Sustainability & Environmental Management
    • Improve energy efficiency and environmental performance.
    • Manage waste disposal and recycling initiatives.
    • Support sustainability programs aligned with school values.
    1. Team Leadership
    • Supervise maintenance technicians, cleaners, gardeners, and Stock control personnel.
    • Conduct staff performance reviews.
    • Develop training programs for facilities staff.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications in Facilities Management are an advantage.

Experience

  • 5–10 years of property or facilities management experience.
  • Experience managing educational facilities, international schools, universities, hotels, or large commercial properties preferred.
  • Experience in Cambodia is highly desirable.
